Blue Ridge, Ga

Just a few weeks after we bought the Bike, we made a trip to Blue Ridge, Ga. We rode Highway 64 all the way to Copper Hill Tn,then shot down 60 to Blue Ridge. A full day of beautiful riding through the Nantahala national Forest. We honeymooned there so many years ago at a little place called The Last Resort. It was a pleasure to return. If you are looking for a little seclusion, this is the place. Plenty of hospitality, a fishing lake, horseback riding, hot tubs, and a big porch to grill on.

This hot tub is right in the living room!

We met some folks at the Resort who were on a couple of Harleys. I was going fishing, but they insisted we ride with them. We rode up from Blue Ridge to Lake Chatuge near Hiawassee, Ga.

Then we wound up back down Hwy 60 to Copper Hill. We stopped at a little watering hole there, seems most of that area is very DRY!

The next morning we rode out to Lake Blue Ridge. Then someone told us we had to ride over Ga Hwy 60 to Suches, Ga. Being from the mountains of NC, I'm used to scenery. But this ride is a must, on a bike or in a car.

Have you ever seen a better motorcycle road?!
